I think you will find that the two initial testers were willing to work with computer simulation. However, if we are to provide prototypes to many evaluators they want to work with the FPGA. My main idea of my post was that posters were discussing the cost of the FPGA itself and possible problems getting them to work, but there was no mention of the fact that we need to have an engineer with each unit and that means big bucks for staffing.
