I cannot imagine me intentionally selling a single share from my portfolio.
Several years ago, I attempted to move my entire holding from a taxable account to my IRA rollover account. I probably do not have to explain to you why? Despite splitting the difference between the bid and the ask, needless to say, not all of the shares made the trip. Someone picked up a few thousand along the way. Fido also sent me a nice warning letter suggesting that I was playing some sort of game by creating volume. I have always wondered if professionals actually trade shares when moving investments from one fund to another. Wouldn't they be guilty of doing the same?
One day, AICIQ will be converted from Chapter 7 to Chapter 11. I just hope it's before all the DTAs expire.
