Price, reliability, reputation, status, coolness factor. I would be a Toyota over a GM in the small car arena, but I might buy a GM for a big car.

Many of my pal's and wives have Toyota's, not saying their bad cars, not at all.
When they ride down to foxwoods in my Lincoln Towncar they say what a nice ride, what room. This car is quiet. No noise. Comfortable car.
