They got in trouble when they kept pushing Sadler Gibb despite the fact that they hadn't been hired to do any auditing at all. Looks like Sadler Gibb threatened to complain out loud (they practically did by admitting there was no audit taking place) and the crooks at NTEK would have taken note of that.

Since they obviously have no intention at all of performing any sort of audit, any auditing firm they name would immediately take action against them as soon as people starting calling in for updates, and NTEK's fraudulent use of their name became obvious.

So they won't name a new auditor. Ever. We've already seen that their most loyal victims don't care about the audit lie, and prefer the lie over the very obvious truth.

The gagged and/or fired TA thing is a bit weirder. It's very odd that a public company would be permitted to keep something as fundamental as their share structure secret, but apparently anything goes in the pink sheets.

It won't be long now. Foley goes in the clink soon, and it's not obvious that any of these guys can fill his shoes. At least they've figured out that his idiot brother sure as hell can't.
