Why would you think it would have an affect that CC news didn't? It might make the stock run for a day or two, but it will go right back down to current levels IMO.
What can Target bring to the table that CC doesn't? I just don't see the immediate gain that everyone thinks.
However, I think long term, news like that would be awesome. It would take a while for subs to build along with profits so I don't think you'd see any real PPS gains for a couple of years.
