I never saw the board before, and don't think of playing sectors in quite those terms .... but not too far away, for instance yesterday i sold an aerospace sort of manufacturer, Bombardier, with intention to probably put the cash into the golds, not right away though, see how it goes, maybe pick up shares cheaper over the summer

George Cole plays the golds through a mutual fund, favourite one of his, and does well at it over the years ..... he posts on Zeev's thread, i've been noting what George has to say since the early days of SI, on the old Kahuna thread ..... this poster ReturntoSender doesn't seem to post anywhere but there, but he's got some interesting articles ... example, this by John Mauldin, who gets respect for good reason - #msg-1106996 .... maybe RtoS just needs introducing around ..... me i've never liked mutual funds, it looked great when they offered free sector-switching there a few years ago, but i think they've stomped on the practice since, they limit the changes you can make without extra charge, at least .... i could never get past the dogs they would have in each fund, prefer to snipe at individual companies
