Depending on the stock,you can do daily,weekly,monthly...FXCM though is FEB,MAR,APR,AUG. The last two days AUG 4 and 5 calls have seen roughly 80,000.00 in buys,I expect it to be alot higher by Friday. FEB calls are far too risky...AUG so far has roughly 36,0000 calls btw 2.50 and 5.00 strikes amounting to 3.4mm shares.
