I do it a hundred times a year.

I send you a certificate of insurance

I do not have to tell you if limits have already been reduced due to other claims

I do not have to tell you the policy has exclusions and limitations
that make paying anything unlikely

I have seen contractors with zero insurance send their own certificates of insurance.

The folks that verify insurance do not know squat about insurance.

It's a great scam
