thanks, yeah, the VIX was the hey string on top that broke the camel's back that got me nervous about my calls, aside of resistance itself, pathetic speed, and horrendous bid volume...

It was all bots buying it up in a program so their masters can get out of underwater positions and/or load shorts for some upcoming downswing, just guessing.

VIX didn't really bottomed but ...it shows stubbornness to drop, so any upside should be limited at best..

Market is RANGING , NOT trending, so one is wiser to fold profits while they can, while they are there still on the table, preferably at close, otherwise affects sleep, mood ...and other "functions"...

IMO the buffalo will spike out of this two month range to downside taking out stops etc (they call it dip opportunity)
