OT

In the fray of frozen/ burst pipes. My well pressure tank is on da fritz..

Got a new tank and going to upgrade from a 30/50 psi to 40/60 psi cut off switch.

My question is , does the tank need to be charged to 38psi to operate properly? Currently factory charged to 28 lbs for the 30/50 switch.. (2lbs less)

Common sense states 38lbs fer the 40/60..
