Sweet info. See how they forecast and estimate to the downside when they want to buy back $2 billion?
The actual numbers for the quarter and the year were great. Profits up the wazoo. But those estimates and projections can be spun down to keep it down.
Then out of nowhere BAMM!
"Yeah, we bought 40 million shares at $50-$51 but you know those projected numbers? well, we did better than we though!"
Double bonus! They bought shares cheap with low estimates and by beating those low estimates the market rushes to buy and drives the price up!!!
