Even if the loan gets paid off tomorrow, you are still subject to the terms of the equity split. The loan may have high interest rates, but it was never the major issue. The major issue is that LUK swallowed most of the equity value and somehow longs are still in denial despite it being clearly laid out in the 8-K.
