Well, I was able to get an answer from etrade regarding the restriction of online purchases. Suspicious trading on it. They said that apparently there was some trading manipulation going on with it and as a result they put the restriction on purchases so that they can identify whomever is buying it. They did stress that this in no way has anything to do with the actual company.
