I wonder how he will dismiss cat scan of advanced, pre-treated HCC patient living[at least by now?] 18 months with no disease progression.

Be careful with 1 patient anecdotes. I have a patient with biopsy proven HCC that I treated with intra-arterial (direct injection into the right hepatic artery) beads soaked in doxirubicin. There has been no progression and no activity on follow up PET CT's for 5 years now.

Others treated had no response, partial responses etc.
