Good points all. When I find a fix for one problem, it may not always be a universal panacea when copied across all years.
I only breath a sigh of releif when I check overall performance again after test copying the fix and watch the results cells settle out.
You are completely right, if one bad patch makes you think of a rule improvement, the key is the suitablility of that improvement across the entire database.
You CAN time the market!
But only after you trash the big 3 myths.
