Obama Unemployment Rate Above 8% Longer Than Any Other President Since 1948

That's unfair. The dam was open and flooding when he walked in the door. That's like me being in a car with someone driving 100MPH and telling them to stop the car. When the car stops a quarter mile down the road I take issue with them about the distance it took them to stop. We were dumping jobs. He walked in with the conditions were worse than ever. Then you have a congress that blocked everything they could in his first 10 months and came in the same November and blocked everything so what you expect. What they don't say on FOX, and the other conservation news sources is that there were bills sitting in congress that would have created millions of jobs that they have been blocking for years. easy to find if you just look.

The method Republicans have used to block all jobs legislation in the past two years is the same. A jobs bill comes up, it is filled with positive things for the economy, Republicans filibuster debate, this shields them from having to make floor speeches on why they don't want tax breaks for small businesses... etc.

Addressed the job section and a minimum wage increase would fix underemployment. Yeah the saying is increasing the minimum wage will destroy jobs but actually in states where minimum wage was increase there was also an increase in job growth. Figure that. easy to find as well.
