* LIFC $23~$26~$30... beats by 3 cents, raises FY06 guidance (LIFC) 23.32 : Reports Q1 (Mar) earnings of $0.12 per share, $0.03 better than the Reuters Estimates consensus of $0.09; product revenues rose 54.8% year/year to $30.5 mln vs the $29.6 mln consensus. Co raises FY06 guidance, sees EPS of $0.50-0.56 vs. $0.46 consensus; sees FY06 product revs of $130-138 mln vs. $130.84 mln consensus.

LifeCell upgraded to Buy from Hold with a $31 tgt at boutique firm Montgomery, following earnings (LIFC) 26.78 +3.46:
26-Apr-06 11:13 ET In Play LifeCell: conference call summary (LIFC) 26.29 +2.97: On the co the co said they co says they are unable to differentiate Alloderm in hernia repair or breast reduction they have surveys from the field and the break up would be roughly 65% for hernia repair, 25% for breast and the balance of small indications in head and neck. When asked about the 25% in breast the co said they believe they are getting more traction in breast reconstruction than they had anticipated. They said they are pleased with the traction they are getting in breast reconstruction. The co says they have been very pleased with early performance of new sales reps as well as old reps. They saw good growth with both new reps and old reps. The co said in the latter part of the year, probably Q3, they will think about whether or not they would further the sales force. The co said it would not impact the updated guidance though. When asked about the Zenograph regulatory pathway they co said it will be a medical device and need 510k application from the FDA. They gearing up for approval and commercialization in 2007. The co said their tax rate going forward should be around 43%. The co will file their 10-Q and there will be a lot of detail about stock based comp. When asked about their plans with their cash the co said they continue to look for technology and product acquisitions, if they find something strategic they may use their cash.
