SS.While Artisan may release SIL on DVD, there has been no statement that I know of that it will be hi-def, and the release will probably not happen until next summer.

If I was Artisan I'd be releasing the DVD by December 1st right in time for Christmas.

I believe you will see exactly that happening.

That is maximizing your marketing dollar while the grill is hot from the theator showing of the movie.
