my daily wrap-up
K&C-- absolutely loved the tirade JC pulled on WorldCom, beautiful television...reminds me a lot of the "coach" Don Cherry with LK doing a great imitation of Ron MacLean -- as a moderating force, if that's possible. lol!

LK did bring up a point that I agree with, (like at 110%) when he said to "fade" (my words) Alan Greenspan and his concern over energy. From my own experiences-- when something becomes common everyday knowledge it's time to bet in the opposite direction...the fact is, LK has to be right in his bearish view of energy in order to squeeze another 22% out of the markets to hit his targets. What's going against him though is that there's still a giant $2 backwardation spread between July and September contracts. NYT (if you can believe them) had a huge article on the lawlessness of Iraq and the mounting casualties of American soldiers...will they ever get oil flowing out of there?
My own thinking here on the NG situation is that if the price keeps trending higher more and more people will look for alternative...may it be conservation...a switch to coal...or a giant leap back into the future with nuclear generation. I'm told it doesn't take much time and money to put up these new modular plants-- the problem is in the permitting.
