I don't think Shire will pull a Pfizer on Intellect, however, if Shire is acquired by another big pharma then there could be something like what has happened between Pfizer and Intellect. I still don't know if Intellect would even receive anything from a successful phase 1b/2 trial. So the only way for Intellect to see money is to dilute the stock like it has done since it began trading.
