SOMETHING IS UP

Possibly shaking the tree to free up shares. I don't know. However, I'll continue to buy into fear. With AMTRAK discussing to restore railroad service into Las Vegas. XTRN is the perfect company to take advantage of this opportunity.

Check This Article
http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2014-10-03/california-rail-project-pursues-deal-with-las-vegas-train.html
It mentions authority officials want to work with XpressWest which is XTRN's only competition. However, AMTRAK looks to get involved and if they do, XpressWest stands no chance.

Even Governor Jerry Brown supports this MASSIVE PROJECT.
"Governor Jerry Brown, a 76-year-old Democrat, has championed the $67.6 billion plan even as cost estimates have increased and polls have showed support dropping from the 53 percent that approved the debt in 2008. His Republican election opponent, Neel Kashkari, has made stopping the “Crazy Train” a key plank in his campaign."

Not only that, but look who else is featured in the article, Hualiang Teng. Who has been working with XTRN in finding a new route in which they call the Western Alignment.
"This new route would cover all of Southern California, both the inland part and the coastal area,” said Hualiang Teng, who teaches civil engineering and transportation planning at the University of Nevada at Las Vegas and hasn’t been involved with the project. “It would have enough ridership to make money.”

If AMTRAK decides to take part in this, they can easily take over. AMTRAK & XTRN are familiar with each other. If you followed XTRN through out the year, XTRN has tried to work with AMTRAK, but no deal was ever agreed upon.

But then why on earth is X-Train seen chartered with AMTRAK?

AMTRAK HINTS:

"On the home front, Amtrak is reviving round-trip daily service between Chicago and Rockford, Ill., in late 2015. This historic rail line was discontinued more than 30 years ago, but the vintage station in Rockford remains and will no doubt get a face-lift, too. Some see this small victory (it's scenic, but just 90 minutes long or so) as a foot in the door to bigger possibilities – among them talk of restoring train service into Las Vegas."

Not sure what is going on. But if XTRN is trying to shake the tree and free up shares. Then by all means, do so. But buying into fear has it's rewards and I look to reap as much as I can.
