But then you scroll down an click on the link for Mata Oritz, http://www.mexconnect.com/mex_/travel/mwilliams/mwmataortizindex.html That gives you a page with a whole bunch of articles on Mata Oritz and it's people written by Michael Allan Williams. I would just email him, mataort@elp.rr.com He probably knows exactly how to get there since he has done a thesis on it. Is the internet cool or what. Yeah I know, I spend all day and sometimes half the night on the internet, and still forget, if it ain't on the internet, it don't exsist. <g>
His thesis, La Lucha del Barro: The Potters of Mata Ortíz, was
the first anthropological work done in the village. Now, Mike
bases himself in El Paso, promoting the potters, the village
and leading group tours into the area of Northern Chihuahua.
