Don't know if you noticed, but Aspire Bariatrics, which removed Dr. Stephen Solomon (the husband's) photo and listing from their Board of Directors page around the time of the NY indictments, has yet to replace his photo. They are now just listing him as a company "Founder".
Is he still a member of the Board, or is he gone. According to various press releases and news reports on the Web, that company has been seeking, and receiving, significant private funding for their product venture to enable the mechanical pump out of an obese persons stomach contents, after they eat, in order to reduce weight. It's been criticized by some on the Web, including by some medical and addiction practitioners as a medically and mechanically prescribed bulemia device therapy. According to the company site, it is not yet authorized by the FDA for use in the US yet.
