Good question. I went looking for the more solid companies in the sector. One that had solid earnings and decent P/E. I then did some charting as to where I figure HAL can drop to without being totally undervalued.
Then I made an assumption that when HAL gets there, it should be at a point where people start gambling on undervalued sector plays, and think the trend will cause oil prices to rise.
All assumptions as I have no clue how manipulated oil prices truly are. I have been reading oil consumption is way down for this year.
The reality is, we may see prices drop way further, but that looks to me to be a comfortable place to jump in on. Ya never know 'til it's too late.
