It's already been predicted, immediately after the financials were released, that the company would go on a massive PR campaign in order to offer "great news" in hopes of persuading investors to ignore the fact that the company is operating itself extremely poorly and the future is looking bleak. A patent from the EU isn't going to produce any better outcome than the patents the company has already received in the U.S. and hasn't been able to capitalize on. The U.S. is a far greater market than the EU with much better opportunities. If they can't make it here, and they haven't been able to so far, an EU grant won't be any better; especially when BNP isn't their current focus.
