That is what message boards are supposed to be about. An exchange of information.
Continuous hyping, or continuous bashing for no apparent reason is a reasonable excuse to ignore a poster or delete messages.
Heck every day I find a stock that I require advice on in the pit. "WXYZ - What am I missing???"
And once a week I say this "Bought WXYZ @1.42 for a bounce" and someone kindly says "Wayne, they just declared bankruptcy" So I dump it.
I think the biggest problem most people have is to be wrong about something they say in public.
I make mistakes all the time, to think that every single trade I enter is a winning one is nonsense. In fact every time I lose money it helps me to make more. I analyze the trade, identify just what went wrong, and never do that again.
Making money in the stock market is easy, not losing it is hard.....
