TheStreet's idiot quant analysis of CVD neglects buyout:

Watch Out: Barbarians At The Gate For Covance (CVD)

Covalence (CVD) stock price is up this year relative to last year because of LabCorp's (LH) pending buyout. CVD's stock price is up recently because LH's stock price is up, and it is a cash plus LH stock deal.

The quant from The Street rates CVD a "buy", but doesn't mention LH anywhere in his analysis.
