What's so special about 65? Use to be most people were doing good to see 65. So social security was if you managed to live that long. There weren't that many people to pay it out to and not for very long. Now a days you're likely to see 78. Why should everybody else pay you to sit around for 13 yrs.
And how are you going to define "handicapped". Is that just physical or mental too? And sure there are lots of fancy new drugs people can take to make them live longer. Why should anybody else pay for your drugs to make you live longer so you can sit around and do nothing. If you want to live longer and get to sit around and do nothing, than pay for it yourself.
If people want to live like "royalty" after they are "retired", then they should work hard and make lots of money or skimp and save so they have lots of money. But if they mostly goofed off and spent lavishly and wasted money, then when they retire, they shouldn't expect other people to pay to pump them full of drugs so they can sit around and live a long time.
