Eltek wins first order from major US aerospace contractor
The unidentified customer ordered flex-rigid printed circuit boards (PCBs) to be used in the production of military equipment.
Globes correspondent 25 Apr 06 18:17
Advanced circuitry solutions manufacturer Eltek (Nasdaq: ELTK) today announced that it has received a first order from a major US aerospace contractor for its flex-rigid printed circuit boards (PCBs) that will be used in the production of military equipment.
The contract value was disclosed. The customer was not identified by name, but Eltek president and CEO Arieh Reichart stated that his company was excited to be selected by a "prestigious tier one US aerospace contractor.

"This strategically important achievement follows our previously announced success in passing a thorough competitive evaluation and certification process by this major defense contractor.

"By winning this order we have achieved a critical milestone and it gives us the opportunity to commence serial production for a sizable project with substantial revenue potential for Eltek.

"As this customer is engaged in various stages of evaluation of our products, we expect the expanded incorporation of our flex-rigid PCBs in several of its military and aerospace product lines, and believe this win will facilitate our securing additional for prototype and long-term, serial-production units orders."

The flex-rigid PCBs are expected to be delivered during the second quarter of 2006.
