Your point has nothing to do with this. The Company's CEO told you that this number is INCORRECT and the actual figure is MATERIALLY HIGHER. If you have proof that what he is saying is not right, you can short the stock and go to the courts with your proofs. Otherwise, blaming him as a liar after his statement has nothing to do with making investors think etc. that you are claiming. You are baselessly blaming a Public company CEO for fraudulent statements. That's why it is not legal.
