For everyone's information-
Announcement I received today. This information is available to everyone should you wish to receive it Ok!!!!

A major step forward for SmartMetric in bringing its biometric card to market has been achieved in the signing of an agreement with a large contract electronics and credit card manufacturer in the Far East.

SmartMetric had planned on creating its own manufacturing facility and producing its own cards. To scale up to produce significant quantities of cards the company would have had to have spent estimated upwards of $30million. To have raised that kind of money pre production would have seen a significant impact on the shareholders of SmartMetric and would have taken a great deal of more time before the company would be able to produce its biometric cards in any sizable volume.

The contract manufacturer that SmartMetric has now partnered with in Asia gives the company immediate manufacturing capacity at very competitive pricing that will allow the company to come to market and meet the anticipated demand from its prospective customers around the world.

With an existing production capacity of 250,000 cards a week SmartMetric's contract manufacturer will be able to scale up with little effort to over 1million cards a week. This gives SmartMetric a tremendous manufacturing capacity without the need to lay out substantial funds. It also provides SmartMetric with immediate large scale production capacity from a proven manufacturer that is already in the chip card manufacturing business.

This is an exciting development for the company since it now has completed its many years in Research and Development and now moves into mass manufacturing and sales.

At the heart of the SmartMetric biometric secured payments card is the fingerprint scanner that is built inside the card. This reader is used to scan the card holders fingerprint in order to verify the user. Once a fingerprint match occurs with the users fingerprint that is stored inside the card then a message is sent to the cards surface contact EMV chip that turns this chip on. If the card users fingerprint doesn't match with the fingerprint stored inside the card then the EMV chip will not work at the Point of Sale card reading machine or ATM.

Connected to the fingerprint sensor is a powerful Cortex processor that process the users fingerprint in less than 1 second. Connected to the processor is a memory chip. Powering the SmartMetric biometric card is an internal rechargeable thin battery that in turn is connected to a SmartMetric designed power management system. Other components are embedded inside the card that make the SmartMetric biometric card the world leader in card security solutions.

In order to have the card operate SmartMetric has developed its own powerful in card operating system providing for rapid fingerprint scanning and further functions to be added in the future.

The SmartMetric biometric card is designed to be backward compatible with existing chip card readers and banking systems.

There are over 1.65 billion chip cards in use by banks around the world with an expected 1 billion additional cards from the United States coming online by the end of 2015. The SmartMetric biometric technology brings a higher level of security to these chip cards thereby protecting banks from millions in fraud losses and the consumer from Identity Theft.

The SmartMetric biometric chip card solution is the right solution for todays insecure payments world. Bringing the power of biometrics to the card payments industry.
