EDIT My wife will be working with a lot of photographic images (real estate). I think this platform with 1 GB RAM, very large HD, and decent dual core uP should do well for her. I agree w/ you on XP (Pro). I like it a lot after years using 95 & 98.
EDIT: This was a must do now issue. She is upgrading from a Pentium II with a 5 GB hard drive!
