No one will smack the ask at that point and you will be forced to drop your ask, like you did. MM's know this and there wasn't the volume today to support such a large sale. Now broken up into 20000 share chunks, it may have gotten picked up and you would have made more money that would have negated the transaction fees. When you hold that many shares, you have to be smart with the sale or you won't achieve maximum profits.
