Wow! 'TDA usually being one of the worst' ... it was a very sympathetic broker rep. at ST that I usually deal with and refer to regarding prob. solving. This Rep. was the one who suggested to me that maybe TDA or E-Trade might be able to help me in the transfer. My TDA PMBS acct was activated Oct. 1st, so maybe I got in under the wire.

I assumed by default that TDA as well as E-Trade were more sympathetic to those who might ah, um, shall we say, 'wish to trade more often'. ST did say that PMBS was "flagged" on their "no transfer list".

I guess ST tightened the screws a little bit more when they recently disallowed purchase of PMBS shares. Reference:
