This Dell Centrino is unusually cheap, which makes it a superior solution to AMD. But most of other Centrino systems are priced between 2k and 3k, which makes them trailing to AMD-based offers in price/performance. I wonder how there are still customers ready to pay 3k for a notebook, while you can buy almost anything for 1.5k?

Who is making notebooks for Dell now? Acer? Toshiba?
