"The next excuse is that WMD were in Iraq but were moved or destroyed before the bombing. But how would that have been possible with UN weapons inspectors through out Iraq & tens of thousands of troops on Iraqs boarders??... Saddam was hated by all of his neighbors."

sarai...

UN weapons inspectors all over Iraq??? How many were there, around 100 if I remember correctly, and most of the time fewer than that. I live near a town of 100,000 people (Iraq is the size of California) and I guarantee you I could give you 1000 people to work with and I could move anthrax and other WMD's around at will and you would not have a clue. Think how easily I could hide it. Now take your 100 folks and go to California, or just LA - your problem would be totally hopeless.

And about the tens of thousands of troops on Iraq's borders - which borders were those?? Yes, we were in Kuwait, but where else??? We covered the Southeast corner of Iraq, nothing else. Syria and Iraq were cooperating, by their own admission. Lebanon is controlled by the Syrians. Jordan is a sieve whose people supported Saddam. So where is all this control we had over Saddam before the war? Your claims are simply not correct.
