2006-04-19 15:40:21 API posts across-the-board fall in petroleum supplies

SAN FRANCISCO (AFX) -- The American Petroleum Institute said crude inventories fell 4 million barrels for the week ended April 14, higher than the Energy Department's reported 800,000-barrel decline. Motor gasoline inventories were down 3.3 million barrels. Distillate stocks fell 2.8 million barrels, the API said.

2006-04-19 15:36:48 U.S. gasoline supply falls for a seventh week: Energy Dept

WASHINGTON (UPI) -- U.S. crude oil inventories last week fell by 800,000 barrels, the Energy Department reported Wednesday. Gasoline inventories dropped by 5.4 million barrels in the week ending April 14 and are now just above the lower end of the average range. A big drop in diesel fuel supplies left distillate fuel inventories down by 2.8 million barrels last week but above the upper end of the average range for this time of year.
