Only TWO thermometers FDA approved! After 2 hours of searching the FDA website and also searching Google I have discovered something very key and very crucial. These two products stand out above the other FDA approved non contact thermometers. 1) They are accurate for human testing. As there are other FDA approved which are designed for material temperature testing. 2) They have a long medical- CLINICAL tested approval stamp of approval! Which I am unsure that the I IDN-g has. As there is no US approval for sure as they do not even have a sales record in the US. So your Google search will bring up cheap inaccurate models that are sold in Amazon. If they are FDA approved they are not primarily designed for human accuracy. SIMH thermometers are sold at very large and "well known" medical outlets. Conclusion is this -- SIMH has almost a monopoly on the market for a super accurate fast testing "Ebola needed" thermometer!
