Excuse me please if I missed something, not sure where the two year thing came from for getting onto shelves? I used the Walmart analogy because they have by all accounts an awesome distribution network, with state of the art tracking and shipping which also impacts the price they can sell goods at. I imagine Whole Foods to be much more chaotic plus they use smaller"niche" suppliers much more. I doubt individual store managers keep up with every product in thier stores, I'd assume it would be delegated to Department Heads. My suggestion would be to call the Whole Food's Regional Office for your area, funny the UK is covered by Cambridge, MA. Anyhow, for some reason I have the idea you are in Florida, which is it's own region: Florida
