The model ethanol plant at the CARD website shows least profitability since April 2013: http://www.card.iastate.edu/research/bio/tools/hist_eth_gm.aspx Obviously PEIX has some different parameters in its favor, but this graph illustrates the severely pressured margins at most plants and suggests what the industry as a whole is undergoing.
