Do you really think Bush lied about WMD's?? That takes a bizarre leap of faith where logic is totally left behind.
Why would he lie about it, knowing that in a matter of weeks the truth would be known?? Why would he lie about it and then for the first time send in imbedded reporters with almost every unit many of whom were from very liberal media sources that were anti war and anti Bush -- those reporters were certain to expose the fact that there were no WMD's found and equally certain to prevent false "planted" WMD's. How could he get such a liberal side darling (certainly not a "hard liner") as Colin Powell to go along with it??
Why did virtually all members of Congress agree with him, after seeing much of the same evidence?? Given all the same circumstances as above, why would Tony Blair put his job on the line to go along with it??? Why did virtually every member of the UN agree that the WMD's existed (resolution 1441) including france, germany and russia, none of whom even faintly denied their existence??? Why did Blix agree that they probably did exist?? Why did both willie and algore agree (based on the same intelligence) both that the WMD's existed and that military action was justified??? Why did daschle and all of the other dems agree?? Why do all but the most left wing dems even now believe the WMD's existed???

Have you ever considered the possibility that the intelligence might have been mistaken (as to location, etc., not that the weapons did not exist) and that was the problem rather than Bush lied??? Did not willie bomb an baby milk/aspirin factory based on faulty intelligence?? Did you accuse him of lying (even knowing that he was an addicted liar) to the American people and call for his impeachment??? (along with algore??)
Nobody but the most extreme far left are silly enough to believe that Saddam did not have such weapons, and it is those same people who are calling Bush a liar. I cannot believe you can be the same person who wrote some very intelligent posts lately and yet believe something so totally illogical.
