yep spot on, it's called a business strategy. I think many people fail to realize a successful business requires a strategy. They don't just throw shit against the walls and hope it sticks.... They test the market to see if they can penetrate it, after the success of the 3 original flavors they moved onto a bigger production run and new flavors. Why would you mass produce something you are unsure if it will be successful? With 10 total flavors, expect a similar strategy to for the next batch of flavors. Small production run, test the market, then proceed to either produce more or re-asses and survey the market for better ideas (if needed).

Certain aspects of business are methodical and time consuming. Imagine if they produced 30k of bottles and it went to shit? They'd be sitting on 29,500 bottles of stuff no one wants. Why have the scrap, waste or monetary loss? Then people would be really going crazy.
