He centers his focus on Rumsfeld, and dodges Bush.

But i actually see his article as an open letter to the Pentagon.

And that narrows his line of expression.

i also note that when a fellow like Newbold writes an article like this, one can be sure near everybody in the Pentagon will be reading it.
That is far far far far far more than would be reading say anything written by either Cockburn(are they brothers????), so this is to the good.
