**Re: CKEI. A small tutorial

"it seem's to me that CKEI has turned out to be a huge loser...I even have my doubt about long term"

Anytimetrader,

When you post such predictions, you should learn to justify them. Short of that, your postings look like cheap bashing. "Cheap," because a good basher has some good arguments to back up his/her statement. Let me help you out, so in the future you at least know how to do a better bashing job (if, in fact, that's what you are trying to do).

Short-term, you might be right as well, providing that CKEI is not able to extend to other markets (electricity, gas, oil). Heating oil being a seasonal commodity, if CKEI continues to restrict its business to it, yes it will take a while for this company to move to higher Q over Q income. If you would have posted at least this much info to back up your statement, then yes, you would have had something worth posting.

Howeverm if you ever read the company's "Fact Sheet" (which I doubt you did), under the paragraph: "Sales Model May Be Replicated For Distribution Of Other Energy," you would have learned that:

"The Company has created a unique, proprietary, turn-key system for pricing and selling oil. This model may be replicated for other energy services delivered to the home, such as electricity or natural gas. An expansion into selling other forms of energy, while opening the Company up to sales throughout the U.S., or other territories, would be predicated upon deregulation of those energy markets."

You may or may not know that US utilities are moving toward deregulation. Just a recent example:

"Illinois Is Poised for Energy Deregulation."

Conclusions:

1. While no one can say for certain that CKEI will be succesful in what they are trying to do, I personally believe they have a very good chance to extend. See why:

1.1 ClickableOil's Fiscal 2006 Revenue Anticipated To Exceed $5 Million, Monday February 13, 8:30 am ET

1.2 Google Reports a 9.4% Click-Through Rate For CickableOil.com for February, Thursday March 23, 8:30 am ET

1.3 The veggie-based oil component of their business is growing fast in the US.

For you to see what I'm talking about see the article I posted on CKEI iHub yesterday, entitled: "Go Bioheat!:"

http://www.renewableenergyaccess.com/rea/news/story?id=44575

2. Piece of advice for you, or anyone else posting the kind of statements you've been posting. Before you do it, if you care anyone to take you seriously, at least you should know some basic facts about the company you are trying to express an opinion about.

"Clickable Enterprises, through its wholly owned subsidiary, ClickableOil.com, Inc., is the first Internet-based home heating oil company to offer customers affordable home heating oil and related services. Based in Mount Vernon, New York, ClickableOil.com specializes in price control, risk management and product positioning, leaving the oil delivery and services to specially chosen vendors. The company currently operates in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Connecticut, and has a license to operate in Maryland. It continues to grow geographically along the East coast. For more information, please visit www.clickableoil.com."

In this particular case, try learning not only what the company is been doing, but also try to understand where they hope to go from here, and do some DD to see if what they are trying to do it's doable.

Mike
