Market makers will adjust accordingly. But it is anyone's guess at the moment where valuations will fall. All I know is that if you remove something of value from an entity, that entity's value drops in line with the amount removed. Whether value of removed goes up or down is up to the market and the new perceived value of that.

It is not: remove something, then value of removed increases and so does original entity. Just not realistic. That's what's been touted for awhile. Windfalls usually happen by accident and not something predicted, otherwise everyone would be in on it. And this information is not hidden or waiting to be discovered. It's out there and current price reflects it.
