... well yeah, fair size areas eh, all the way from Río Bravo del Norte to Tierra del Fuego, it's been that way for over five centuries .... we are well aware of this, funny thing though, we've never found the language to be a problem ... or, a lot of other languages, we have all kinds, native ones, european ones, asian .... did you know that the twelveth largest japonese city on the planet is Sao Paulo in Brasil, and they have two count em 2 daily newspapers in japonese? ... i heard that probably ten years ago, maybe fifteen ..... we used to have an english daily in el DF, but they just shut down a few months ago, not enough customers ... sad, because it was a pretty good paper, called The News and they also had a spanish edition called Novedades which is still going i think, they had a good name, good reporters, i know one of them ..... aaanyway, no more dicking around, let's cut to the core, well looks like the sum total, of your case -

Ah-hah, here we have it .... there is a fear present, a quiver in the knees of the anglo colossus, a vague building apprehension that those people hanging around that taquería there are fomenting revolution ..... well really, no worries mate - trust me, the males are just trying to get laid, and the others are lapping up the attention while wondering what sort of shoes they'll buy next .... revolution, are you kidding? ... it takes a Porfirio Díaz to stir us to such lengths, a Batista, a Somoza ..... you think this Dubya regime will turn out that bad? ..... well alright, granted some days it's not lookin too shiney, pretty corrupt as the british columbians can tell you, pretty stupid on the diplomatic front as just about anybody on the planet can tell you .... and if they really fire up that Patriot Act into full gear, look out, because that will make Somoza look like a boy scout .... come to think of it, looks like you have a whole hell of a lot more important things to deal with than a few folks talkin castellano, and while those folks may present you with easier targets, for every one you knock off you will be losing an ally for a greater fight to come

And a greater fight will come, count on it, the way those neocons are working up the world against us on this continent .... oh yeah, i know, really it's against the US on this continent, but we're right here beside you, with the canucks to your north, and when push comes to shove the shit will come down on us as well, and you'll be glad of an ally or two ..... and if you're capable of making push not come to shove, then good, you've applied your energy and talents to better pursuits than worrying about whether somebody might get a driving license in a language of which you don't approve
