Nope not him though he one shape individual. Back to the answer.
On this thread, we have been discussing the “concept of IHUB” questions and answers and how it should be changed or should it. I am an advocate that it not be changed. I feel the COB’s and all threads are personal because they are moderated and have a COB. I also feel Bob has a very good point with stock threads but only to the fact that a thread that the ticker of a security leads to that thread, that destination thread should have all points allowed.
But this little exercise in spelling errors on select words and still keeping the sentence structure to be fairly understandable makes a point here also.
Some people are so busy with English lessons and adapting a post to their own perspective and interpretation that they actually miss the point of the message and the discussion. Also by going off on this type of tangent basically the tangent drifts off the topic eventually. Once that happens then others join in on the attack like a shark-frenzy. And thus the thread goes through a vicious over and over scenario, which is relentlessly off-topic, thus the thread is steadily going downhill. Now remember a “Slinky” does not work uphill.
This is the nonsense that a COB can address because the focus in the posts was between you and I. This has demonstrated how threads get disrupted on something as innocent as someone merely attempting to have a civil communication with someone else on topic and a little added entertainment. But it also shows that a post is not always the face value either.
We all know some like to attack the messenger and not deal with the underlying basis or someone not having to disclose things that are really none of anyone’s business, loaded unanswerable questions and so forth. (BTW I have no interest in IHUB except as a place to post and put a check on anarchy) If I was going to attempt to make a little law or rule for every incident or infraction. I would have a list 90 pages long and never be able to have it nailed down. The more rules you have the more rules that can be thrown back at the administration. This is why the TOUs are written as they are on so many sites so they can allow for certain vague scenarios because it gives the administration room to work. Not to mention one less law(s) that can be thrown back in their face by a member’s interpretation …
BTW if you didn’t get it yet, the answer is “SLINKY” because as long as the thread is in a downward spiral momentum off the topic this scenario will continue to “slinky” right into cyber-heck just like it happens on a stock site.
