that article is from 2009 but yet they continue operations and take on new clients - do you know what the verdict was? the financial services industry is not like any other, if you get "fraud" marked on your name it's not as easy as switching to another name/DBA (they even kept southridge in their name) and to continue; the SEC considers fraud to be akin to murder in the financial markets....Either they did not get convicted of it, the probe continues (not surprising considering gov't inefficiencies), or something else...not defending anyone as I am not wishful thinking and for better or worse I want the true story like any other...I just want the entire story...seems like the ending to this novel is not factored into this post...Probes either continue or end...
