ABU DHABI -- The United States is planning a major naval exercise in May to test its response to any Iranian naval blockade of the Straits of Hormuz. Iran has been conducting exercises aimed at blocking Gulf shipping.

Officials said the exercise would replicate an Iranian effort to mine the straits and send boats packed with explosives into U.S. warships.............>>
Like that is what they think they are just faced with?????
That they will be unguard to abort attacks like that on the U.S.S Cole????????????????
That this is where they think Iran level of capability is??? o my, if that had been the case, are intelligence gathering is still a joke; or that is being said because that is what GWB wants year, GWB, gets UPSET if you tell him what he doesn't want to hear.
Seymour Hersh has written that Murtha got all the REAL INFO regards Iraq, because the carrer officers trust him; but they never tell GWB what they know because it is well known, tell Bush about the reality in Iraq, your career is OVER, you are finished.
He gets foull and vindictive if you don't supprt his fantasies and considers that talk as defeatist and not patriotic.
Just for the record, the same was the case with Hitler also.
Except with Hitler, you could find yourself dead if you talked negative realities with him.
