No it does not the earth shadow (when it moves exactly between the moon and the sun) is quite small (the subtending angle of the sun, if memory serves is about .25 degrees so the cone of shadow is really not that big. While in one place on earth an eclipse can be observed in others it is not, yet it is still a full moon.
